Just a quick one ... has anyone made enquiries regarding possible pollution of birch vale reservoir and the river sett , I know a boom was put out around the inlet on the res and there was little water put on the fire due to pollution run off .The EA were in attendance but the two women were there in the dark so i dont know what they were expecting to see . (i am a firefighter there all night the first night of the fire) the building and yard was full of chemicals so i would be asking a few questions and there was also airborne asbestos and glass along with toxic smoke which went over the res .
